How to join a community

Finding and joining with communities in your Wisr network

To browse the communities that your school or organization has created for you in the Wisr network, click the Communities tab in the navigation bar.

Once on the Communities page, you'll a few of the featured communities in the site. If any of these seem of interest to you, click into them. Continue scrolling to see allyour school's or organization's entire list of communities.

On this page, you can browse all of the communities and sort them a number of ways (alphabetically or by date created) to find what you're looking for. We also have a search bar to make it easier to narrow down the communities by keyword.

Once you find a community that you're interested in, click into it and then click the Join Community button on the banner.

If the community is public you will instantly be a member. If it’s a private community then you will have to wait for an admin to approve your membership, which may take up to a few business days.

Once you're a member of a community, you'll have the right to participate in and create discussion topics in the community forum.
